"There you are!" Cried Shani as she ran up to the napping King and Queen of the Pridelands.

"Shani, you're home!" Said Kiara after opening her eyes from her state of relaxation. Kovu looked up, sleepy and surprised to see his daughter.

"Yep, I'm here, where's Chaka? I've missed him so much since I've been gone." Shani glanced over at her father, that bothersome feeling still in her heart. She quickly diverted her eyes back to her mother.

"We haven't seen Chaka since the day you left." Kiara answered.

"What!? Hasn't anyone gone to look for him?" Shani asked.

"Ofcourse we did" Kovu said. "He must have ran off that night, because when I went to wake him to begin his training, he was already gone."

Kiara's face became very sad. Kovu simply looked at the ground infront of him, as if ashamed.

"Maybe...I was too hard on him."

Shani looked at her father, never having seen him look so sad. "It's not your fault father. Chaka will be alright..." But Shani wasn't sure she believed her own words. She knew her brother...simple, shy, Chaka.

Shani thought about bringing up the subject of her return, but decided now was not the best time, until her father asked, "But Shani, why aren't you with Nuka?"

"I belong with my brother. You were wrong to send me away father." Shani could feel the shakiness in her voice, and hoped her parents wouldn't notice. "Chaka needs me, to help him learn to rule this kingdom, with strength, and passion...I don't think your training is suited for him."
Shani held her breath and exhaled slowly, watching her father think.

"Until Chaka returns" he replied, "You are the Pridelands future ruler, and Your training, with your mother, will start at dawn."

Shani was shocked at her fathers words. They weren't exactly what she'd had in mind.

Yay long story. Blah, I hope you guys enjoy these picture comic story things I do...they're not easy to come up with! I kinda do it as I go!

On another note, I would kinda like to do some other art, so this story might be put on hold.
